and as an example  a small bed room unit starting at approx €230euro the total cost would be €380 plus material

this would be a back to back system and would require approx €50euro of material eg cable and drain pipe, and mount  total = €380 plus €50

 Some faults on units (depends if parts are available for the make and model you have ) can be repaired

If a unit requires re-gassing this indicates a leak which must be fixed if possible

domestic units should never require re-gassing

In this case i would carry out a leak detection test before re-gassing
